Systems leadership as a practice can be operationalised on different levels to achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders. One of the key qualities that is indispensable is candour… Positive candour to be exact, focused not on defense but on offense, specifically in service of stakeholder goals.
The most intimate example I can think of is that of a manager-staff relationship. The system here is team effectiveness due to individual members performing at their highest levels, hence the development of people & talent in the team is key.
